Singing Spirits is for primary school aged children. The aim is for children to have great fun together playing singing games and learning songs from a great range of genres. Underpinning the activities are the development of vocal skills and musicianship, development of personal and social skills, and the enjoyment of singing together. Children sing in unison, in parts, solos, in little groups, many styles of music, and many languages. The group is from time to time invited to sing in special events on Sundays and in family services.
Here at Stratford Methodist Church, we operate a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy.
Singing Spirits is led on a voluntary basis by Rebecca Ledgard (Director of Education, Ex Cathedra) and Sheila Giles (Organist – Stratford-upon-Avon Methodist Church) and a team of volunteer supporters.
